Healthy Way proposed a comprehensive five step mold mediation plan addressing all affected areas of the property. The scope of work includes cutting and removing of all interior walls, tile floors and ceilings down to the wood studs as well as removing carpeting. A full remediation process will be performed treating all wood and masonry surfaces with fogging and HEPA vacuuming throughout the entire space. Two coats of dry lock, damp proofing paint will be applied to all masonry walls on the first floor. Additionally, Healthy Way proposed installing a full perimeter drain system for the entire building, connecting to a sump pump with a battery backup pump along with exterior drainage improvements. To maintain optimal, humidity levels, installation of an Aprilaire  E50 dehumidifier was also recommended.
