Healthy Way proposed a comprehensive full perimeter water management system which includes two sump pumps, a battery backup pump with Wi-fi monitoring system and smart monitoring for maximum reliability. To improve air quality and humidity control, Healthy Way will install an Aprilaire E 70 dehumidifier. The basement will also be protected with new exterior drains and a drywell system to ensure proper water flow away from the home. Mold remediation will include a four step sanitization process on foundation walls and wood surfaces, HEPA vacuuming, and full area fogging with Vital Oxide mold disinfectant. Foundation walls will then be coded with Drylok Extreme waterproofing paint to seal and protect the surface. Additional work includes minor foundation crack repairs, concrete restoration, selective demolition, and debris removal and remodeling once waterproofing and remediation are complete.
